Aayisha is a licensed Speech and Language therapist under the DoH, bringing with her over 5 years of valuable experience across a spectrum of settings that include multidisciplinary rehabilitation centers, schools, and clinics. Her expertise primarily revolves around providing support to children with special needs, encompassing challenges related to learning, speech, behavior, and sensory deficits. In 2017, Aayisha completed her Bachelor's degree in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology. Currently, she is pursuing her Master's degree in Language and Communication Impairment in Children at the University of Sheffield. Aayisha's skill set encompasses a wide range of competencies, including the assessment of children, the development of tailored therapy plans, the implementation of group therapy activities, and addressing a comprehensive array of speech, language, pragmatic, and feeding difficulties in the pediatric population. Throughout her career, Aayisha has collaborated closely with both families and educational professionals, providing her expertise to support specially abled children dealing with conditions such as Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Delayed Speech and Language. This collaborative work has occurred within multicultural and multilingual environments.
