Ruba Kiwan is a DOH-licensed Speech and Language Therapist. She completed her bachelor’s degree and graduated from the Lebanese University in 2012. Over the past 9 years, Ruba has worked in various settings in Lebanon, including schools, clinics, and centers. She was also a supervisor at the Lebanese University for 3 years, where she observed and monitored speech therapy trainees.
Ruba has attended several workshops and conferences on a range of topics, including Autism, Cleft Lip/Palate Comprehensive Care, Special Kids Transitioning into Adults, Crisis Management for Families of Children with Disabilities, Capacity Building, Dyslexia, and Stuttering. Ruba is currently working at Intercare Health Center.
She focuses on both adult and pediatric patients with various conditions, including Autism, Speech Sound Disorders, Articulation and Phonological Disorders, Fluency Disorder, Receptive and/or Expressive Language Delays/Disorders, Learning Difficulties, Developmental Delay, Intellectual Disabilities, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
