Introduction:
I am a licensed Speech and Language Therapist, with over five years in a range of settings across the UK. I’m passionate about providing care that supports clients in building independence, confidence, and improved quality of life.
Therapeutic Approach:
My approach is person-centered, holistic and grounded in evidence-based practices. I work with a range of clients who experience communication and/or swallowing difficulties. This includes support for neurological conditions, stroke recovery, brain injuries, learning disabilities, dysphagia, speech and language difficulties, dyslexia, dysfluency, voice disorders, and cognitive communication impairments.
Client Experience:
You can expect compassionate and structured therapy, with clear goals and collaboration with families and the wider team. I prioritise creating a safe, supportive environment where progress is regularly reviewed. Therapy strategies are practical, empowering, and sustainable beyond the clinic setting.
Personal Interests:
Outside of my clinical work, I engage in activities that promote physical and mental wellness including swimming, walking my dog, reading and socializing.
Credentials
I am DOH & HCPC registered with a BSc in Psychology (1:1) and an MSc in Speech & Language Sciences (Distinction).
Certifications/Workshops: Highly Specialist Dysphagia, Videofluoroscopy (MBSImp), Tracheostomy (NSTP), Progressive Neurological Conditions (PD, MSA, PPA), AAC & Voice Banking (Google), Early Stroke Intervention, McNeil Dysphagia Therapy.
