Sana Tufail

Speech and Language Pathologist

Sana Tufail is an American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) (MS, CCC-SLP) and a licensed SLP in the state of Massachusetts. She is fully registered as a Health Authority Abu Dhabi (HAAD) SLP. Sana worked at the New England Center for Children (NECC) in Boston, USA, an internationally acclaimed school for special education, for over three years. She has extensive experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum.


Sana specializes in enhancing communication and social skills through evidence-based interventions, including augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems such as Proloquo2Go, LAMP, and TouchChat. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology with a minor in Special Education and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology, both from Old Dominion University (ODU) in Virginia, USA, where she graduated with distinction.


Sana’s work spans multiple settings, including special education and innovative projects that integrate speech therapy with activities like golf instruction to promote social interaction. Passionate about research, she is currently engaged in two projects focused on autism services, contributing to a growing body of knowledge in the field.
