Speech and Language Pathologist

Introduction:

I am a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with 5 years of extensive experience working with children and families across clinical, research, and community settings. My professional journey spans Jordan, the UK, and the UAE, where I have developed expertise in both assessment and intervention for a wide range of speech, language, communication, and voice disorders. My practice is grounded in evidence-based approaches, ethical standards, and a deep commitment to client-centered care.

Therapeutic Approach:

My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based speech and language interventions, early intervention programs, and caregiver training. I tailor therapy to the unique needs of each client, whether addressing developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, speech and language impairments. In addition, I empower families and caregivers by providing training and practical strategies to ensure therapy extends beyond the clinical setting into daily life.

Client Experience:

Clients and families can expect a professional, confidential, and supportive environment. I focus on building functional communication, enhancing speech intelligibility, and strengthening language development. My therapy plans are highly individualized, incorporating structured assessments, practical strategies, and measurable outcomes to promote long-term progress and well-being.

Research & Academic Contributions:

I have contributed to international research projects exploring child language development, multilingualism, and speech and language profiles. My academic work includes:

Research Assistant & Co-Author, Jordan University of Science and Technology – Co-authored studies on speech intelligibility, phonological accuracy, and grammatical profiles of children with Down syndrome in Jordan.

Research Assistant, Newcastle University (UK) – Contributed to the Bulbul Project, studying child language development and multilingualism across diverse socio-economic and cultural contexts in the Middle East.

Personal Interests:

Outside of my professional work, I enjoy exploring art and handcrafts, spending time in nature, and engaging in water activities. These creative and outdoor interests contribute to my holistic outlook on life and enrich my therapeutic practice by bringing balance, creativity, and energy into my work with children and families
