Introduction:
I am a DOH licensed speech therapist currently practicing in Abu Dhabi with prior clinical experience in the Philippines. I work primarily in pediatric settings, both in schools and clinics, providing therapy tochildren with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, global developmental delay, hearing impairment, intellectual disability, and genetic disorders.
Therapeutic Approach:
I follow a client-centered and evidence-based approach, ensuring that each intervention plan is tailored to the individual needs, strengths , and goals of every client while supported with the current research and best practices. I also collaborate with occupational therapists, physical therapists, teachers, nurses, and families to deliver holistic care for my clients.
Client Experience:
Clients and their families can expect individualized, supportive, and engaging therapy sessions. I focus on reating a positive and encouraging environment, using evidence-based startegies to help them communciate effectively through different methods such as verbal and non-verbal way of communication and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
Personal Interests:
I usually spend my free time engaging in recreational activities such as watching series and participating in sports and physical activities. I am also commited to continuously to expanding my professional knowledge and skills.
