Speech and Language Pathologist

Introduction:

I am a licensed Speech & Language Therapist with over a decade of international experience in paediatric and adult therapy across the UAE and South Africa delivering evidence-based practice. I bring valuable experience across diverse settings, including schools, community, rehabilitation centres, and long-term care units. My practice is rooted in ensuring that every child is empowered to participate and thrive within their community.

Therapeutic Approach:

My therapeutic approach My therapy style incorporates a range of approaches tailored to each individual's needs, including DIR/Floortime and language modelling strategies such as expansion, recasting, and focused stimulation. I also integrate interventions such as SOS Feeding Therapy, Oral Placement Therapy (OPT) and AAC to support communication, feeding, and oral-motor development. A key part of my approach is caregiver training, empowering families to support their child’s progress in everyday environments. I specialise in supporting children and adults with swallowing and communication difficulties this includes dysphagia, learning disabilities, autism, selective mutism, speech and language difficulties and cognitive communication difficulties.

Client Experience:

Families can expect a welcoming, professional and confidential environment where each child’s communication needs are carefully considered. I provide practical strategies and structured therapy plans designed to improve speech and language skills, enhance daily communication, promote independence, and actively involve families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams throughout the therapeutic journey.
